Terms of Service

This document is a draft and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. The operator's legal entity, registered address, governing law and jurisdiction must be completed before launch. Every placeholder marked in this style must be filled in.

These terms govern your use of OddsHunter (the "Service"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY - TO BE COMPLETED], of [REGISTERED ADDRESS - TO BE COMPLETED] ("we", "us"). By signing in or purchasing access you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. No promise of profit

OddsHunter does not and cannot promise that you will make money. The Service estimates the value of a betting selection by comparing bookmaker odds against a modelled "fair" price. Both sides of that comparison can be wrong.

  • Odds we display may be stale, misread, or no longer available at the bookmaker by the time you act on them.
  • Fair prices are model estimates, not truth. They can be mispriced, based on estimated line-ups, or matched to the wrong selection or player.
  • A positive expected value figure is a calculation, not a prediction of your result.
  • Past performance - ours, yours, or any figure shown anywhere in the product - does not predict future results. Measured returns on selections previously flagged by the Service have been negative.
  • Example figures, simulated equity curves and paper-trading output are illustrative only and are not offers, advice, or performance claims.

You alone decide what to stake, where, and when. You bear the entire loss. Never stake money you cannot afford to lose.

2. What the Service is

OddsHunter is an analytics and information tool for football betting markets. It aggregates publicly available odds, compares them with modelled fair prices, and presents the difference along with staking calculations, history and export tools.

We are not a bookmaker, betting exchange, broker or agent. We do not accept bets, hold or handle stakes, place bets on your behalf, or settle any wager. Any bet you place is a contract between you and a third-party operator, subject to that operator's own terms. We have no control over and no responsibility for their odds, availability, limits, settlement or payouts.

Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must not be excluded from gambling by law, by self-exclusion, or by any operator or regulator.
  • You are responsible for satisfying yourself that betting, and using a tool of this kind, is lawful where you live and where you access the Service. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available in any particular territory.

4. Accounts and security

Sign-in is via Discord OAuth, and two-factor authentication (TOTP) is required. You are responsible for keeping your Discord account, your authenticator device and your recovery codes secure. Activity carried out through your account is treated as yours.

One account per person. Accounts may not be shared, sold, rented or transferred.

Where you choose to store credentials for a third-party data provider in your settings, you confirm that you are entitled to use those credentials and that doing so does not breach that provider's own terms. That relationship remains between you and that provider.

5. Prepaid access and payments

  • Access is prepaid: a one-time payment grants a fixed number of days of access.
  • Days accumulate - a new purchase is added to any balance you still hold.
  • There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. We will never charge you without an action by you.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers; we do not store them.
  • Prices are shown before purchase and may change for future purchases. A change never affects days you already hold.

5.1 Refunds

Unused days are not automatically refundable. Access is delivered digitally and immediately on purchase. If the Service is materially unavailable for a prolonged period, or a payment was taken in error, contact us at contact@oddshunter.pro and we will consider the case in good faith. Any statutory right of withdrawal you have under the consumer law applicable to you is unaffected by this paragraph.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-extract data from the Service, or access it through any automated means other than the interfaces we provide;
  • resell, redistribute, republish or commercially exploit data, alerts or exports obtained from the Service;
  • share your access with others, or operate multiple accounts;
  • attempt to circumvent authentication, payment, rate limits or access controls;
  • interfere with, overload or probe the Service or its infrastructure;
  • reverse engineer the Service or use it to build a competing product;
  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in any territory where it is unlawful.

Alerts sent to Discord are for your personal use.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached - in particular for abuse, automated extraction, account sharing or payment fraud. Where access is terminated for breach, remaining prepaid days are forfeited. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account (see the Privacy Policy).

8. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. It depends on third-party sources and providers, and may be interrupted, delayed, incomplete or discontinued. We may add, change or remove features, markets or data sources at any time. We do not guarantee uptime, refresh frequency, accuracy or completeness of any data.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for betting losses, lost profits, lost opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service - including where data was inaccurate, delayed, missing or wrongly matched. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page is the one in force. Material changes will be announced in the product or on our Discord channel. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by [GOVERNING LAW - TO BE COMPLETED], and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [JURISDICTION - TO BE COMPLETED], without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
